## Session X: The playbook in review

> [“Working from home ≠ working remotely.”](https://open-and-async.com/q/working-from-home/)

### Discuss

- Take the self-assessment again and compare it with the scores you saved before Session I. Where did the number move, and where did it stay stubbornly put?
- The book closes on four threads: transparency, writing as work, outcomes over activity, and sustainability. Which did this group move furthest on? Which did you skip?
- Of everything you tried between sessions, what’s still happening without anyone reminding you? What quietly died, and why?

### Split the room

**For managers:** If you could make one practice from this book your team’s default — built into how you onboard, plan, and run meetings — which would it be, and who owns making it stick?

**For individual contributors:** Which change from these sessions belongs in your next career retro or brag doc? Write the one-line version now, with a link to the evidence.

### Debate

“A book club changes conversations, not behavior.” Argue it. Then point at the work you’ve done differently since session one.

### Try it

Write your team’s own “how we work” doc: where decisions live, what goes in chat versus an issue, when a meeting is the right call. Give it a URL and link it from onboarding.
